Child Sponsorship Explained.

All the children at the home are classed as “at risk”! They are at risk to being subjected to a life of poverty

through a lack of education, due to the remote location of their village, a culture that marries girls off at

11, 12 & 13 years of age, hunger through unsustainable farming and many other issues that doom them to

a life of despair & poverty.

Currently the only other choice of an alternate future these girls have is to run away to the cities of

Thailand looking for work BUT they usually end up in the sex trade living a horrid life until they contract

HIV and die.

Only with your help will they have a chance of a better future!

Hope Kids Home is a Full Care Facility

The Hope Kids Home is a “Full Care Facility” which means we provide everything for the children at no

cost to them or their family including:

• Accommodation & all meals, toiletries and more.

• Education including school fees, uniforms, books, excursion fee, after school tuition & much more.

• Health Care.

• Spiritual Education

• A “Quality” loving, family environment.

• And the list goes on!

We also have ongoing cost such as:

• Staff salaries.

• Vehicle cost (currently 2 x pick-up trucks fitted with “Troop carriers”) to take the children to school

and excursions.

• Insurances.

• Utility bills.

• Repair, maintenance & replacement of equipment such as washing machines, fridges, rice cookers,

etc., etc.

• The list goes on & on.

We ask that sponsors share their child with up to 2 (two) other sponsors (3 in total) at $40 per month. If

each child were to have 3 sponsors at $40 per sponsorship, we believe this would cover the needs of the

child. Your money is place in the “Child Sponsorship” pool, so that NO child goes without.

Having 3 sponsors per child allows for sponsors dropping out or getting behind in the monthly

commitment, it also assists us by NOT having to put a burden on “Sole” sponsors every time we have a

special need at the home. We estimate the real cost per child, per month is between $120 & $150 dollars,

depending on the age & special requirement of the child. We feel that $120 per month is very reasonable

considering we give FULL CARE to the child.
