I want to Sponsor:

  • Matthew Darby

    Birthday: July 2008

A missionary’s greatest concern is for his family, especially that his children get the education they deserve and would be considered normal if living in their home country.

Matthew was born on the mission field in Thailand and has attended our local Thai government school to year nine level. He will be 16 years old in July 2024.

He will now move to Australia to finish high school and then onto university.

He will be changing from the Thai Education system (Thai Language) to the Australian Education system (English Language), a huge challenge.

Matthew will be attending Kings Christian College at Pimpama on the Gold Coast, Australia. He will start year 9 of high school in their 2nd term in April 2024. This is a “repeat“ year for him to be able to get up to speed with his English learning skills.

He has dual citizenship and will be boarding with friends on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.

This is a MASSIVE event for him and us as a family, both emotionally and financially BUT we believe it is the best decision for Matthew’s future.

As you can imagine there are many costs involved and your contribution will help Matthew receive a quality Australian education.
